Sefina

We asked Emma Fundin, HR Business Partner at Sefina Pantbank, three quick questions. She generously shared her insights and experiences with using Hailey 🩷

Sefina, the largest pawnshop in the Nordic region, was founded in 1884 and today has over 200 employees in both Sweden and Finland. In December 2023, Sefina decided to implement Hailey to digitalise its HR work and ensure secure handling of employee data.

What challenges did you face before implementing Hailey?

"We didn't have an HR system or any system support for strategic HR," says Emma.

"We had a significant need to consolidate and improve the quality of our employee data while dealing with an excessive amount of paperwork. At the same time, we were keen to establish a modern approach to HR by digitalising, automating, and streamlining our HR processes, and we wanted to achieve this within a single HR system."

Why did you choose Hailey?

"We had an incredibly positive dialogue with Hailey from the very first meeting and always received quick responses to our queries. We felt that the HR philosophy behind Hailey's design was exactly right, and we appreciated the rapid pace of development within the system," Emma explains.

"User-friendliness was a crucial factor in our decision, and we believed our managers would quickly understand and start using the system. Additionally, Hailey offers very competitive pricing. You get a lot of functionality for your money!"

What measurable results or benefits have you achieved since going live?

"It’s been just over six months since we started building the system, and during this time, Hailey has developed enormously with refined and new functionality," says Emma. "We have had a very high adoption rate among managers and employees, and all parts of the system are now operational. It feels incredibly reassuring that we now work GDPR-compliantly in all HR processes. We appreciate the smooth hiring process and the significant progress we have made in a short time in digitalising, automating, and streamlining our HR processes."
