The Hailey bird has got a new outfit, and a new friend!
With the summer sprint behind us, we're proud to present our latest improvements that make Hailey even better and more enjoyable to work with.
So what's the story with the bird? As you know, the bird represents the bird's-eye view that Hailey gives HR and managers, whilst the new flowers symbolise the employees who flourish alongside you on the platform. The birds and flowers have a streamlined design and colour palette that perfectly matches the platform's new look, but they're even more expressive in their character.
New design
We're now rolling out the new design for everyone! Many of you have already tested it during spring and summer, and the response has been fantastic. Beyond a visual refresh, it's a completely new user experience that makes daily work more enjoyable and intuitive.

Hailey in your colours with new branding
Finally! Integrate your own signature colour into the platform. A simple but personal detail that can make a big difference to the experience. As an HR platform, Hailey becomes an important part of your entire organisation's development, and we want you to feel at home.
Your colour appears on:
- The homepage (first impression every day)
- The menu (guides users through the entire system)
- Employee avatars when they don't have a profile picture
Here's how easy it is: Go to branding in your settings and choose your colour. In less than a minute, you'll have created a new, personal experience for all users.

Time off balance for all types of time off
You've long been able to manage holiday balance in Hailey, but now we've extended this to all time off reasons. Useful for organisations that require enhanced support for leave management, whether you follow Swedish collective agreements, Finnish service leave or British sick day rules.
Real examples from our customers:
Sweden: Separate balances for unpaid holiday, saved holiday days and working time reduction.
Finland: Service leave based on length of employment. This means that in addition to the holiday balance, you can also manage, for example, lomarahavapaa through the platform.
United Kingdom: Paid sick days with automatic deduction.

Same data, different languages
Each employee can use Hailey in their preferred language, regardless of the company language. Now you can also translate your organisation-specific terms:

Bulk management that saves time
Bulk management is the key to more efficient HR administration. When you need to perform the same action on many items simultaneously - corrections, updates or clean-up, our new bulk functions save a great deal of time.
What you can bulk manage:
Task lists: With editing permissions, you can bulk-mark tasks as complete. This applies to all custom workflows such as pre-, on- and off-boarding.
One-to-ones: Admins can select multiple one-to-ones in the overview and delete them simultaneously.
360 evaluations: Admins can select multiple 360 evaluations in the overview and delete them simultaneously.
Goals: Admins can now select multiple goals and delete them simultaneously.
Signatures: Admins can now select multiple signatures and cancel them all at once.
Mobile app
Initiate hire via mobile
The hiring process can be started in the mobile app from the next release! When you've found the right candidate, it's important to act quickly and get the employment process started immediately.
We've implemented a shortcut on the home screen where you can initiate the hiring process with a few intuitive steps. Whether you're at your computer or not!
Here's how it works:
- Press the plus icon on the home screen
- Enter basic information about the candidate
- Send it on to the candidate portal
- Follow the process in real-time in the overview on the home screen
More tasks directly in mobile
Our vision is that employees should never need to open their computer to use Hailey. Therefore, we continue to integrate all tasks and workflows into the mobile app, making it accessible and simple.
- Complete 360 management: select peers, adjust peers and answer questions

Multiple Crona integrations for companies where different units in the same Hailey account should be synchronised to different accounts in Crona.

- Share job ads smoothly via email and LinkedIn. Go to your published job ad and press the share button. A simple way to get broad distribution of open roles and reach more potential candidates.
- Trigger workflows on time off is now live. Read more in the previous PU here.
- Copy employment templates - create variations quickly for easy configuration.
- Bulk communication with candidates is now live. Read more in the previous PU.
- Employee templates are now available in the workflow for casual employment and re-hire.
- Certifications - In addition to previous options, we've added that you can now require certification for: specific employee, location, department, legal entity.
