How the sync works
The integration is event driven and works in real time — no file transfers, no scheduled syncs. A background check is started directly from Hailey, and Right Person handles the rest of the process. The status and final report are then sent back to the employee's profile in Hailey, as two fields under "Other" on the employee's record.
Before activation
- An active account on both Right Person and Hailey is required.
- Administrator access in both Hailey and Right Person, to set up the connection.
- Contact Right Person to provide the API key/Access Token.
Included data
From Hailey to Right Person:
- Name, email, phone number
- Department
From Right Person to Hailey, as two fields on the employee's profile:
- RightPerson Status: Pending Consent, In Progress, Completed or Cancelled
- RightPerson Report URL: link to the finished report, available once the check is complete
